What is MAC address in Enigma2?

What exactly is the MAC address in Enigma2?

The MAC address of a device is a unique identifier linked to a network interface controller for communication at the data link layer of a network segment. When using IPTV on Enigma2-based devices, you do not need to assign your Enigma2 device MAC address to your line. The only plugin that requires you to input your device MAC address to your line is the Extreme TV plugin.

Once you have installed the plugin, you must provide your XtreamTV Plugin ID (MAC address) to your IPTV provider or add it yourself to your line.

You can locate the XtreamTV Plugin ID after accessing the plugin with your Enigma2 device under “Device Details“. Set up IPTV using the XtreamTV plugin in Enigma 2.
