How to change Audio language and Subtitles on Samsung TV

  • Utilize the P+/P- and Arrows to navigate between pages, groups, channels, and videos.
  • Press UP or UPx2 to display the current program information.
  • Press DOWN to view the channel history.
  • Use SELECT (OK) or CH LIST to load the channel list while in play mode.
  • Access current program information by pressing INFO or INFOx2.
  • Use the Number Keys for channel selection; press “0” or PR CH for channel history.
  • Press RETURN to hide the channel list and info bar, returning to the primary list.
  • To exit the application, press EXIT.
  • Adjust the stream/video aspect ratio using P.SIZE, TOOLS, or EXTRA.

Changing the audio language for channels LG

If you possess a webOS 3.0 TV, you can select the audio track and toggle subtitles on/off using the red and green buttons respectively. However, for webOS 2.0, only the option to turn subtitles on/off is available.

For older LG Smart TVs, adjusting the audio track is limited to “pushing” it within the playlist, applicable only to streams and not VOD. Alternatively, the stream’s audio language is automatically determined based on the Audio Language Settings (1st Audio) configured on your LG Smart TV.
